Analytical Laboratory Services

St. Lucie County is seeking proposals to provide comprehensive sample collection and analytical laboratory services to meet compliance with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) landfill permit specifications for its Baling and Recycling Facility. The contract will cover routine analysis of groundwater‑monitoring wells, extraction wells, piezometers, and surface‑water sampling locations, as well as any additional analytical needs that arise from facility operations or regulatory requirements. Other county agencies, such as the St. Lucie County Utilities Department, may also draw upon this contract for related analysis services. • Scope includes collection, preservation, and transportation of samples from 37 groundwater‑monitoring wells, 3 extraction wells, 1 combined extraction well, 2 piezometers, and 3 surface‑water sites. • Required analyses are defined by the facility’s Operation Permit and may involve periodic or ad‑hoc testing for contaminants, metals, and other environmental parameters. • Contractor must be capable of meeting all FDEP specifications and be ready to support additional requests from other county departments as needed.
