Space Science Information Technology Support

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is seeking a contractor to provide information technology support for the Space Science Division (SSD). The contractor will be responsible for managing, evaluating, procuring, integrating, programming, maintaining, training, and testing all resources supported by the SSD information systems administration activity. The scope of work includes hardware and software engineering services, information technology systems and network management, operations, security, and help desk support. The contractor will also provide management information systems software engineering and support, as well as scientific research software engineering and support. * Key responsibilities include: * Providing hardware and software engineering services for SSD information technology infrastructure * Performing information technology systems and network management, operations, security, and help desk support * Providing management information systems software engineering and support * Providing scientific research software engineering and support * Maintaining and supporting various software applications and systems * Providing system administration and maintenance services * Ensuring compliance with all federal and NRL directives and security requirements
