Description
The Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking competitive bids for two Magnetic Tow Sweepers. The sweepers must meet the specifications outlined in the bid document, including a sweeping width of 96 inches, a welded steel frame construction, and a minimum sweeping speed of 13 mph. The bid package must include a completed cost sheet, a copy of the warranty, and any exceptions to the specifications. The bidder must also provide a Tax Clearance Certificate and comply with all applicable federal and state laws.
• The bidder must provide a comprehensive tax account review to determine and ensure that the account is compliant with all primary Kansas Tax Laws.
• The bidder must comply with the Kansas Act Against Discrimination and the Kansas Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
• The bidder must provide a copy of the warranty and guarantee the design, material, and workmanship of the unit.
• The bidder must include all applicable federal, state, and local taxes in the bid price.
