Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide Consultant Services for Traffic Projections/Forecasting Studies. The selected consultants will provide professional and technical services to GDOT in relation to collecting, processing, and reporting traffic data and traffic projections. The scope of work includes conducting project site-visits, attending project coordination meetings, and providing services such as traffic forecasting, data collection, and reporting. The contract term is expected to be up to 5 years, with a minimum dollar amount of $25,000 and a maximum dollar amount of $10,000,000. The key responsibilities include receiving and evaluating incoming Traffic Forecast Request Forms, serving as the central intake coordinator, tracking assignment status, and communicating with GDOT staff and project stakeholders.
Some of the key requirements for the consultants include:
• Demonstrated experience in project coordination, workflow management, or task assignment in a technical or engineering environment
• Familiarity with traffic forecasting processes, transportation planning, or related disciplines
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent requests
• Effective communication and coordination abilities across multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with tracking tools, document management, and workflow systems
The SOQs will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Project Manager, Key Team Leader(s), and Key Team Member – Experience and Qualifications
• Additional Resources and Challenges
• Prime Consultant Experience and Past Performance
• Technical Approach
The evaluation process will consist of two phases, with the shortlisted firms being invited to submit a Technical Approach and possibly present and/or interview for the services.
