Description
The Gwinnett County Government is soliciting bids for the purchase of ballistic helmets for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services. The helmets must meet specific requirements, including being coyote brown in color, having a 4-point adjustable harness, and meeting NIJ Level IIIA standards. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The bidder must provide a minimum of three references where work of a similar size and scope has been completed.
• The bidder must provide supporting documentation of ballistic protection, including NIJ ballistic testing and RTP (resistance to penetration) data.
• The bidder must provide samples of the helmets, if requested, within five business days.
