Planned Residential Demolition Bond Group U1

The City of Detroit is seeking pre-qualified demolition contractors for the planned residential demolition of 38 properties. The work includes abatement and demolition of residential properties, and the contractor must complete all work within 120 calendar days of a Notice to Proceed. The contractor must also provide a price sheet, professional rate schedule, and signature page with their quote. The city reserves the right to reject any and all quotes, and the successful vendor will be required to secure performance and payment bonds. • The contractor must be pre-qualified by the City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement. • The contractor must comply with the Scope of Services and the City of Detroit Demolition Program. • The contractor must provide a detailed breakdown of costs for each property, including asbestos removal and disposal, demolition, and backfill. • The contractor must not allocate costs for one property to another property or group of properties. • The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and name the City of Detroit as an additional insured.
