Description

The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking a firm-fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to procure and deliver water and wastewater treatment chemicals. The BPA will have a three-year ordering period, and the anticipated period of performance is expected to begin June 1, 2026. The contractor will be required to provide pricing and availability for all listed chemicals. Some key points to consider include: • The contractor must provide all items requested, including HB104C 50-gal drum and Magnesium Hydroxide 5-gal bucket. • The government is not open to alternate or equivalent materials unless they can be vetted by park operational staff. • The contractor must provide detailed product data sheets for each item, including exact chemical formulation and specifications. • The current supplier is Hill Brothers Chemical Co.

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate without knowing the exact quantities of chemicals required. However, considering the three-year duration and the variety of chemicals listed, a reasonable estimate could be between $500,000 and $2 million. This estimate is based on the assumption that the contractor will need to provide a significant quantity of chemicals to support the water and wastewater treatment operations at the Grand Canyon. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the actual quantities of chemicals required, the frequency of deliveries, and the pricing of the chemicals.
