The Town of Fairfax is seeking pre‑qualified contractors to design and construct a new concrete sidewalk along Main Street (VT 104), install granite curbs, provide drainage improvements, and add traffic‑control elements including rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFBs). The work must comply with the Vermont Agency of Transportation 2024 Standard Specifications and be completed by mid‑November 2026.
• Construct approximately 1,289 ft of reinforced‑concrete sidewalk with associated granite curbing and drainage.
• Supply, install, and commission AC‑ or solar‑powered RRFB assemblies (single‑ or double‑sided) with required signage, wiring, and a 30‑day continuous‑operation test.
• Perform removal, reset, or replacement of existing RRFB systems as shown on the plans, including foundation work, back‑filling, and utility coordination.
