Budget estimate

$10,000,000 – $20,000,000

Based on typical unit costs for comprehensive pedestrian‑safety upgrades (including pavement reconstruction, ADA sidewalks, signal upgrades, utility relocations, and storm‑water works) in the Maryland region, a 2.2‑mile corridor can range from roughly $10 million to $20 million. The lower bound assumes minimal utility conflicts and standard material costs; the upper bound reflects extensive utility relocations, higher‑specification signal systems, and additional storm‑water facilities.
