Description
The Arapahoe County Public Airport Authority is seeking a qualified architectural and design firm to create an outdoor aviation-themed community space, playground, and airport observation tower at Centennial Airport. The project aims to develop a welcoming and visually distinctive outdoor aviation destination that integrates cohesively with the existing airport administration building. The selected firm will provide comprehensive architectural and design services in two phases: creative conceptual design and detailed design, engineering, and delivery support. The project's estimated total budget is $3,000,000 - $4,000,000. Key requirements include experience in designing public outdoor spaces, understanding of external tower structures, and expertise in playground design, interpretive signage, public space safety standards, landscaping, and ADA compliance.
