Sidewalk Road and Drainage Construction for Safe Street Prjoects

The City of Providence is seeking qualified construction firms to perform sidewalk, road, and drainage construction in the Public Right-Of-Way for projects funded through a $27.2 Million Federal Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Implementation Grant. The contract will be effective for the grant timeline, through January 31st, 2029. The work may include installation of protected bicycle lanes, pedestrian safety improvements, traffic signals, sidewalk and curbing work, road paving and striping, and drainage improvements. • The contract will be awarded to one or more proposers based on their qualifications and experience. • The City reserves the right to require interviews and presentations from proposers. • The contract will require a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond. • The City will evaluate proposals based on the criteria outlined in the RFQ, including cover letter, completed forms, statement of bidder qualifications, and references.
