6515--NX EQ Lifts: Patient Transfer: Floor Based: Bariatric

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking vendors to provide EZ Way brand name or equal Lifts: Patient Transfer: Floor Based: Bariatric products on an agency-wide basis. The contract will be a Requirements Contract with Firm-Fixed Price orders, and vendors will be required to deliver the products to VA medical centers and facilities throughout the United States and its territories. The products must meet specific salient characteristics, including the ability to roll within a room while suspending a patient, lifting range, leg clearance, and emergency stop and manual emergency lowering. The contract has a base period of 12 months with four option periods. • The products must be able to lift patients weighing up to 1000lbs. • The products must be motorized using battery power. • The products must have a scale option with capacity equal to the lift. • The products must be able to be used with ambulation slings and repositioning slings. • The products must have a maximum exterior width with legs closed of 34.5 inches. • The products must be able to provide emergency stop and manual emergency lowering. • The products must be compliant with ISO 10535.
