Fairview Road and Chapel Hill Road Roundabout

The City of Columbia is seeking bids for the installation of a roundabout at the intersection of Fairview Road and Chapel Hill Road. The project includes mobilization, clearing and grubbing, traffic control, excavation, and other related work. The contractor will be required to comply with various regulations and standards, including those related to environmental protection, occupational safety, and labor laws. The bid must include a firm, fixed price for all line items, and the contractor will be selected based on the lowest and best responsive bid. • The project requires the contractor to complete all work within 120 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. • The contractor must provide a bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the bidder's bid. • The contractor must comply with all requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). • The contractor must provide certified payroll every 7 days after the first submission. • The contractor must assume responsibility for all loss or damage to materials and equipment for the project.
