Description
The Jacksonville Port Authority seeks a qualified contractor to retrofit the roof of the TMT Body Shop metal warehouse (approximately 26,598 SF) with a new 60 mil TPO roofing system, replace interior insulation, skylights, gutters, and downspouts, and perform associated demolition and disposal. The work must be completed within 60 calendar days after notice to proceed, with strict compliance to OSHA, building codes, and manufacturer specifications, and includes a 10 % small‑business participation goal. Bids are submitted electronically via Trimble Unity Construct in PDF format only; a mandatory pre‑bid conference and site visit are required.
• Remove and replace damaged interior insulation (≈10,000 SF) and install new EPS flute‑fill insulation.
• Replace existing skylights, metal roof panels, siding, gutters, and downspouts; install a certified 60 mil TPO/R‑9 roofing system over the existing metal roof.
• Provide all required submittals (work plan, safety plan, insurance, bonds, SEB documentation) and meet liquidated‑damage penalties of $1,685 per day for delays.
