Substation 23kV Equipment Package

The Peabody Municipal Light Plant is seeking bids for a 23 kV equipment package for the Bartholomew Street Substation. The package includes circuit breakers, disconnect switches, voltage transformers, surge arrestors, and other related equipment. Bidders must submit their proposals by November 6, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. The contract requires the delivery of the equipment, as well as operation, maintenance, and installation manuals. The bidder must also provide spare parts and meet certain technical specifications, including seismic design and testing requirements. Key features of the bid include: • Furnish and deliver six 1,200A, 23 kV Circuit Breakers, complete as specified in Section 26 18 40.11. • Furnish and deliver three 2,000A, 23 kV Circuit Breakers, complete as specified in Section 26 18 40.11. • Furnish and deliver twelve sets of 1,200A, 23 kV Hookstick Disconnect Switches, complete as specified in Section 26 13 50.31. • Furnish and deliver six sets of 2,000A, 23 kV Hookstick Disconnect Switches, complete as specified in Section 26 13 50.31. • Furnish and deliver twelve 23 kV Voltage Transformers, complete as specified in Section 26 16 50.32. • Furnish and deliver eighteen 23 kV surge arrestors, Station Class, 18 kV, 15.3 kV MCOV, polymer housed, 8 ¾” 3 bolt circle mounting, eyebolt style line and ground connections, Ohio Brass type EVP or approved equal. The bidder must also provide a detailed design and manufacturing schedule for the equipment included in this Contract within 4 weeks of award of this Contract.
