Description
The United States Air Force is seeking information on potential sources for Variable Stability In-Flight Simulator and Test Aircraft (VISTA) Airframe Support. The contractor will provide engineering support for the United States Air Force Test Pilot School (USAF TPS), including support for the VISTA aircraft, F-16s, and other vehicles. The support includes basic F-16 engineering support, documentation, special projects, and logistical support.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing engineering support for VISTA and F-16 unique systems/components
• Providing documentation support for VISTA and F-16 aircraft systems
• Providing logistical support for non-standard parts and repair of non-standard parts
• Providing special projects support, including flying qualities investigations and systems integration
• Providing instrumentation support for TPS curriculum development and student Test Management Projects (TMPs)
The contractor will perform work under individual task orders issued under the contract. The period of performance is from FY27 to FY32.
