Independent External Audit Services – Westbury Union Free School District (RFP #2025/26‑07)

Westbury Union Free School District is seeking a New York‑licensed CPA firm to perform its annual independent external audit, including a single audit of approximately $6 million in federal awards, for the fiscal year ending June 30 2027 and for up to four additional years (2027‑2031) contingent on mutual agreement. The engagement must comply with GAAS, GAGAS, GAAP, GASB/FASB, state comptroller, and OMB Circular A‑133 requirements, and deliver a comprehensive package of 25 statutory reports, schedules, and audit opinions, as well as ongoing advisory support and attendance at audit committee meetings. • Conduct full‑scope audit of all governmental, special, capital, fiduciary, and federal‑fund accounts, producing required financial statements, reconciliations, and compliance reports. • Perform pre‑fieldwork in June and core fieldwork in August each fiscal year, with draft reports due mid‑September and board filing by October 15. • Provide a flat annual fee covering the entire audit, maintain work‑paper retention for seven years, and meet insurance, independence, and peer‑review requirements.
