Description
The City of Tybee Island is seeking bids for the construction of a new restroom facility at the Marine Science Center. The project includes furnishing and installing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to construct a new restroom facility, complete as specified. The facility will be a 275 square foot masonry block building with a standing seam roof, mechanical and plumbing features, and other features conforming to the plans and specifications prepared by Greenline Architecture. The work must be substantially completed within 150 days after the notice to proceed, and completed and ready for final payment within 180 days after the notice to proceed.
• The project requires a pre-bid meeting, which will be held on April 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the Public Safety Building conference room.
• Bidders must submit their bids by May 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET.
• The City of Tybee Island reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or technicalities in bids received.
• The bidder must provide all necessary documentation, including a W-9, occupational tax certificate, certificate of insurance, and bid bond.
• The bidder must also submit a signed addendum, if applicable, and complete all attachments to the bid.
