The National Park Service intends to award a single source justified cooperative agreement to NCPE for the NCPE interns at Minute Man National Historical Park project. The project aims to create short-term training opportunities for qualified students focusing on cultural resource management. The interns will work alongside NPS staff in the cultural resources and interpretation fields in different park units and offices throughout the nation. The project includes tasks such as completing a Cultural Landscape Treatment Plan and conducting an in-depth interdisciplinary study of an American Revolution battle site.
• The project is expected to last for 18 months, from July 7, 2019, to December 31, 2020.
• The recipient will select and oversee qualified and motivated undergraduate and graduate students to work alongside NPS staff.
• The interns will have substantive assignments in their areas of study and work closely with NPS staff day-to-day.
• The project will provide a stipend to the interns.
• The NPS will provide financial assistance, general orientation, and technical assistance to the recipient.
