Request for Proposals: Historic Preservation Administrator

The Teton County Historic Preservation Board is seeking a Historic Preservation Administrator to help organize and support the work of the Board. The successful applicant will be responsible for communicating effectively with the Board, facilitating monthly meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, architecture, urban planning, or a related field, and relevant experience working with historic properties and preservation. The estimated time commitment for this position is 10-20 hours per week, and the fee will be based on qualifications and experience for a one-year period. Key responsibilities include: • Communicating effectively with the Board and providing necessary information for informed decisions • Facilitating monthly Historic Preservation Commission meetings and attending Town Council and County Commissioners’ meetings as needed • Preparing meeting agendas and posting upcoming agendas and minutes to the Board website • Assisting the Board in reviewing Town demolition applications and coordinating with the Historic Preservation Consultant • Providing administrative support for mailings, meeting logistics, and drafting letters and other documents • Ensuring fiscal integrity of TCHPB, including submission of a proposed annual budget and monthly financial statements • Preparing and submitting annual reports to the State Historic Preservation Office • Assisting with submission of grant requests and identification of other resources necessary to support TCHPB mission
