Description

The City of Omaha is soliciting qualified contractors to design, construct, and rehabilitate storm‑water penetrations and associated manhole structures for the Papillion Creek Interceptor (OPW 53907). Budget estimate

$5,000,000 – $15,000,000

The solicitation does not disclose a contract value. Similar interceptor rehabilitation projects in mid‑size U.S. cities typically range from $5 million to $15 million, depending on length of pipe, manhole count, material specifications, and site constraints. Given the detailed scope (PVC lining, HDPE pipe, extensive testing, and SEB requirements) and the urban Omaha setting, a reasonable estimate is $5 M‑$15 M. Factors influencing the final amount include exact linear footage, number of manholes, soil conditions, and any unforeseen utility conflicts.
