Description
The St. Johns River Water Management District is seeking a contractor to install and place Argentine Bahia sod on regraded slopes and excavation areas. The project involves placing sod on approximately 5,000 feet by 50-feet of slope and 750 feet by 150 feet of excavation area. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the project. The work must be completed by July 31, 2026.
• The project requires the contractor to conduct a pre-construction meeting, inspect slopes, and verify that the slope is ready for sod placement.
• The contractor must provide a minimum of 24-hours prior notice before placing sod.
• The contractor must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• The contractor must demobilize from the site and remove all rubbish and unused materials.
• The contractor must take care to protect all existing structures, roads, utilities, and other improvements from damage.
