Description

Texas A&M University is establishing a master agreement with a pool of qualified vendors to supply and deliver a broad range of medical, surgical, and protective gloves to its College Station campus. The contract is awarded on an ITB (Invitation to Bid) basis, with a one‑year initial term and up to four optional one‑year renewals (maximum five‑year duration). Vendors must be registered on AggieBid, acknowledge all linked Texas A&M terms and conditions, and meet strict shipping (FOB Destination, freight prepaid) and warranty (minimum one‑year) requirements. A HUB Subcontracting Plan is required for any single award of $100,000 or more. Pricing is firm for the entire contract term, and payment terms are 2 % discount for payment within 15 days, net 30 otherwise. • Supply of multiple glove types (nitrile exam, latex exam, surgical, OB sleeves, radiation‑protection, etc.) with case‑pack quantities to be specified by the vendor. • Delivery must be made to Texas A&M’s College Station campus during normal business hours; vendor bears all freight costs. • Contract includes renewal escalation percentages (vendor must propose maximum increase for each renewal year) and a $35,000 estimated annual spend (informational only). • Mandatory vendor registration on AggieBid; manual submissions require a completed W‑9 and use of the university’s standard bid form. • Additional compliance: one‑year warranty, possible sample submission, tariff/duty disclosure, and HUB Subcontracting Plan for large engagements.

Budget estimate

$35,000 – $175,000

The solicitation notes an estimated annual spend of about $35,000 for the glove portfolio. Assuming the contract runs the full five‑year maximum, total potential revenue could reach roughly $175,000. However, actual spend may vary by order volume, price adjustments, and any additional line items added during renewals. A conservative low estimate is the first‑year spend ($35,000), while a high estimate reflects the full five‑year ceiling ($175,000).
