Description
The Central Piedmont Community College is seeking bids for the construction of a Fire Training Facility at their Merancas Campus in Huntersville, NC. The facility will include a Class A Burn Building, a Drill Tower, and a Fire Training Classroom & Support Building. The project also includes space for truck maneuvering and open concrete pads for fire prop training exercises. Bids will be received for single prime contracts only, and all proposals shall be lump sum.
• The facility will be used for fire training and will include multiple structures and features.
• The project requires a single prime contractor with a proper General Contractors license.
• The contractor must have proper license as required under the state laws governing their respective trades.
• A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for 100% of the contract price.
• Payment will be made based on 95% of monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work.
