Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is seeking bids for the provision of Magnetic Safety Ribbons. The contract will be for a period of 1 year, with optional renewal periods of up to 4 additional years. The successful bidder will be required to provide 100 packs of 18" magnetic safety ribbons, with no imprint, in safety orange color. The ribbons should be 1.5" wide and made of grosgrain material. The bidder with the best price and delivery time will receive the maximum points.
• The contract will be awarded based on the best value approach, with 95 points allocated to price and 5 points allocated to delivery time.
• The successful bidder will be required to comply with all terms and conditions of the contract, including those related to delivery, payment, and termination.
• The contract may be extended to other state agencies and political subdivisions, with the consent of the vendor.
• The vendor will be required to provide a certificate of authority to transact business in the Commonwealth, if applicable.
