RFP 527-077 Greenwater Area Snow Removal

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide snow plowing and removal services for all access roads and to clear winter parking areas at the Greenwater Area Sno-Parks along Highway 410 from Enumclaw to Chinook Pass. The successful proponent will be awarded a five-year contract to provide winter maintenance services. The proposal will be evaluated based on factors such as equipment description, equipment failure back-up plan, proof of ownership or control of equipment, hourly price of each piece of equipment, experience, plan of operations, and capacity to carry out the contract. • The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with the option to extend for another 5 years. • The contractor will be responsible for providing snow plowing and removal services for all access roads and winter parking areas. • The contractor will be required to have a plan of operations and a back-up plan for equipment failure. • The contractor will be evaluated based on their experience, equipment, and pricing. • The contract will be awarded to the bidder that meets the objectives outlined in the RFP.
