CANYON CREEK SIDEWALK PROJECT

The Leon County is seeking a qualified contractor to construct a sidewalk along the north side of Canyon Creek Road between Shumard Drive and the St. Marks Trail. The project includes additional services such as driveway and side drain reconstruction, ditch regrading, culvert extension, headwall construction, handrail, and other associated work. The primary contractor or any subcontractors used must be licensed as specified in the Technical Specifications section and prequalified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the Sidewalks Specialty Class of Work. • The project has a completion allowance of 31 calendar days. • The contractor must conduct a pre-construction meeting and obtain all necessary permits before starting work. • The contractor is responsible for verifying survey control points, establishing a staging area, and maintaining traffic control. • The project requires a 5% bid guarantee and a Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the estimated project cost. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and specifications, including those related to insurance, licensing, and equal opportunity employment.
