Description
The State of Tennessee is seeking a qualified contractor to supply, deliver, and fully install a commercial playground at David Crockett State Park in Lawrenceburg. The scope includes site preparation, concrete‑encased post installation, assembly of a multi‑level tower structure, swings, ADA‑compliant ramp, custom play elements, border system, engineered wood‑fiber surfacing, and final site cleanup, all in compliance with ASTM and ADA standards. The contractor must hold a Tennessee specialty contractor license for playground installation, provide required bonding, insurance, tax registration, and certifications, and complete the work by the contract deadline (December 30 2026) with delivery/shipping by July 29 2026.
• Full turnkey installation of a Kompan‑specified playground system (including tower, swings, custom features, ramps, and surfacing).
• Required Tennessee contractor license (BC‑B, BC‑b(sm), BC‑C, BC‑7, or S‑Playground Installation) and all related bonding/insurance.
• Project window: award expected after July 15 2026; work to be finished by end‑December 2026, with a short post‑award mobilization period.
• Mandatory compliance with safety (ASTM F1485, F2075, etc.), ADA, and State procurement clauses.
• No union labor required; contractor responsible for permit acquisition and utility protection.
