Design of Biologically Aerated Filtration (BAF) System Equip

The City of Cincinnati is seeking proposals for the design of a Biologically Aerated Filtration (BAF) system to be retrofitted into the existing secondary treatment building at the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati’s (MSDGC) Little Miami Wastewater Treatment Plant (LMWWTP). The selected Offeror will work with MSDGC to finalize an agreement for the design and furnishing of the BAF system, and support its installation and commissioning. The scope of work includes designing a new BAF system, coordinating with the EPS Project Team, and providing a cost proposal for the design, fabrication, and delivery of the BAF system. • The BAF system must meet the performance requirements outlined in the Conceptual Design Report (CDR) attached to the RFP. • The Offeror must demonstrate their understanding of the Project goals and any innovative approaches proposed to achieve them. • The Offeror must provide a detailed description of the proposed BAF system, including conceptual design criteria and how it aligns with the Project design criteria. • The Offeror must demonstrate their ability to meet the performance requirements of the proposed BAF system. • The Offeror must provide a schedule for the design, fabrication, and delivery of the proposed BAF system, and demonstrate how it aligns with the anticipated Project schedule.
