JOC for Zoo Specialty Construction

The City of Tucson is seeking qualified contractors to provide turn-key installations or modifications of zoo exhibits involving sculpted shotcrete, animal containment, life safety and support systems, and general plumbing systems. Services may include design, engineering, fabrication, permitting, and installation. The contract will be for a term of one year with four one-year renewal options. The City intends to select approximately six contractors for this job order contract. • The scope of work may vary with each individual job order and may include rockwork, animal containment, and life support systems. • Contractors must comply with all codes, secure necessary licenses, and provide drawings and plans as required. • The City reserves the right to terminate the contract for convenience or cause. • Contractors must provide a guarantee against materials defects and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of substantial completion.
