Transformative Art for Public Spaces Grant (TAPS)

* The Transformative Art for Public Spaces (TAPS) grant supports initiatives that enhance public infrastructure to drive economic growth and community vitality. * The grant invests in projects that leverage creative placemaking to attract visitors, support local businesses, and strengthen regional identity. * Eligible applicants include local governments, non-profit organizations, schools, art groups, and community organizations. * Projects must be completed within 60 days of being awarded and must use durable materials for long-term public display. * The grant provides $1,500-$2,000 per project, with a total available funding of $150,000. * Priority consideration will be given to communities that have not received funding from Commerce in the past three years. * Applications opened on April 1, 2025, and will continue until funds are depleted.
