3620 - Body Armor/Concealable Ballistic Vests

The City of Gadsden is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase of Body Armor/Concealable Ballistic Vests for the Gadsden City Police Department. The contract is for one year, and the City reserves the right to renew for two additional one-year periods. The vests must meet the National Institute of Justice Standard (NIJ) – 0101.06 for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor. The successful bidder must provide a male and female vest sample within five days of request, and the vests must be delivered within three weeks of measurement.
