Description
The County of Maui is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite to the Department of Environmental Management, Wastewater Reclamation Division. The contract period is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, with the option to renew for another year. The bidder must provide Sodium Hypochlorite (Liquid) with 99% purity and 12.5% concentration. The estimated quantities are 2500 gallons for Lahaina WWTP, 2500 gallons for Kihei WWTP, and 20,000 gallons for Kahului WWTP. The bidder must comply with the Special Provisions, General Terms & Conditions, and the Offer Form.
• The bidder must submit the completed Offer Form and questionnaire (if applicable) through the Public Purchase website.
• The bidder must provide a Tax Clearance Certificate, DLIR Certificate of Compliance, and Certificate of Good Standing from the DCCA.
• The County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers and to waive any minor or inadvertent discrepancy in the bid documents.
• The bidder must deliver the materials within five calendar days from the date of order.
• The County may terminate the contract in whole or in part in the best interests of the County.
