Fire and Rescue Equipment Discount Catalog Bid

The City of Chesapeake is seeking bids from qualified, authorized distributors to establish a term contract for the supply and inside delivery of Fire & Rescue Equipment. The contract will be based on a fixed percentage discount off current published price lists and will cover tools, labor, equipment, and supplies from approved manufacturers on an as-needed basis. The City reserves the right to add or remove manufacturers during the contract term. • The contractor shall furnish the following goods and services: • Product Condition: All items furnished under the resulting contract shall be new, unused, and of the same manufacturer's current production model. • Quality and Compliance: All products shall conform to industry best practices and comply with applicable standards, including but not limited to, NFPA, OSHA, and ANSI requirements. • Discount Structure: Bidders shall offer a fixed percentage discount off their most current published manufacturer's price lists for all Fire & Rescue Equipment. • Authorized Distributor/Catalogs and Updates: Bidders must be an authorized distributor for all products offered and shall provide proof upon request. • Delivery: All orders under the resulting contract shall be delivered within the listed number of days after receipt of order. • Warranty: All warranties either expressed or implied which are inherent in products specified shall be applicable to products furnished as the result of this solicitation unless exception(s) as noted when bids are submitted. • Freight Terms: All quotes provided under the resulting contract shall be FOB Destination, with all shipping and handling costs included in the quoted price.
