Mechanical Lubricants

The Idaho Transportation Department is seeking a reliable supplier for various mechanical lubricants, including full synthetic diesel and gasoline engine oils, transmission fluids, hydraulic oils, greases, and related products, on an as-needed basis for ITD's statewide fleet maintenance operations. The contractor is expected to provide responsive delivery, technical support for product selection, and adherence to all API, OEM, and regulatory standards. The resulting contract will be a Blanket Purchase Order (BPO) with a term of two years, with the option to renew for two additional two-year periods. Key objectives include securing lubricants that enhance the performance and longevity of ITD's fleet, promote fuel efficiency, and minimize environmental impact. • The contractor must provide full synthetic, premium-quality heavy-duty diesel engine oil that meets or exceeds current OEM and industry performance requirements. • The contractor must provide light and medium duty gasoline engine mechanical lubricants that are full synthetic and meet the latest industry and OEM specifications. • The contractor must provide multi-vehicle automatic transmission mechanical lubricants that are full synthetic and designed for broad compatibility with both domestic and foreign vehicle manufacturers. • The contractor must provide heavy-duty hydraulic, axle, and brake lubricants that meet the required standards and specifications.
