Description
The State of Ohio is seeking a contractor to provide biodegradable heavy-duty plastic bag tubing material for the Ohio Penal Industries (OPI). The material will be used to produce trash bags and FDA-approved poly bags for use in an office environment and a meat processing career center. The contractor must be able to provide biodegradable and non-biodegradable film, with biodegradable films being the primary supplies ordered under this contract. The material must be compatible with the Plascon Model BSM 1300 Plastic Bag Machine.
• The contract will be for a period of 36 months, with the option to renew for an additional 36 months.
• The contractor must be able to provide material test results upon request and ensure that all film meets the required standards for biodegradation and suitability for the intended purposes.
• The contractor must comply with all security and safety rules and procedures when delivering supplies to the participating agency.
• The minimum order value for any order placed against this contract will be firm for the life of the contract.
