The Union Free School District of the Tarrytowns is soliciting proposals to provide a full‑day, universal pre‑kindergarten program for the 2026‑2027 school year. The contract will cover curriculum delivery, staffing, health & safety compliance, family engagement, and all required assessments for up to 144 children on‑site at John Paulding Elementary School, with optional off‑site classes. The vendor must supply qualified teachers, bilingual support staff, a program director, and meet extensive New York State early‑childhood education standards, including SAVE fingerprinting, FERPA, and Iran Divestment Act certifications. The district will award the contract to the most advantageous proposal based on program quality, experience, staffing qualifications, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Deliver a full‑day (≈6.5 hrs) UPK program for up to eight classes (18 students each) on‑site.
• Provide 8 teachers, 8 teaching assistants, and a qualified director plus substitutes and lunch aides as needed.
• Align curriculum with NYS Pre‑Kindergarten standards, conduct required health & developmental screenings, and support family engagement and kindergarten transition.
• Submit a hard‑copy proposal (original, copy, USB) by 2 PM EST 29 May 2026; attend a mandatory site‑visit on 14 May 2026.
• Maintain required insurance coverage, certifications, and data‑security/privacy plans throughout the contract term.
