Description

The Navy is soliciting bids for the repair of electronic amplifiers. The contractor will be required to meet specific Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT) requirements and provide a throughput constraint for each National Stock Number (NSN). The contract will have a duration of 365 days after the award date, and any assets received after this date will not be authorized for repair without a bilateral agreement between the contractor and the NAVSUP WSS Contracting Officer. The contractor must obtain final inspection and acceptance by the Government for all assets within the established RTATs. Key points to consider: • The contractor must accurately report all transactions by the end of the fifth regular business day after receipt. • The contractor must provide a throughput constraint for each NSN. • The contractor must meet the applicable RTAT requirements to avoid consideration and negotiation. • The contract price is based on the contractor meeting the RTAT requirements.

Budget estimate

$100,000 – $500,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate without more information about the number of amplifiers to be repaired and the price per unit. However, considering the complexity of the repair work and the need for the contractor to meet specific RTAT requirements, the budget could be substantial. A possible estimate could be between $100,000 and $500,000, depending on the scope of the work and the number of amplifiers to be repaired. Factors that may influence the budget include the contractor's ability to meet the RTAT requirements, the quality of the repair work, and the number of amplifiers that need to be repaired.
