Description
This Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) solicitation seeks a contractor to rehabilitate critical wastewater infrastructure serving the I‑65 Northbound Welcome Center in Simpson County. The scope includes rerouting a gravity sewer line via directional boring beneath a pavement, replacing an aging pump station and associated force main, installing a pretreatment grinder/manhole (“Muffin Monster”), reconstructing a city‑owned sewer manhole, and stabilizing/reseeding disturbed areas. An alternate scope allows for temporary pumping of the existing wet well until the new station is operational. The project requires coordination with private property easements (KY DOWNS Gaming) and compliance with health‑safety guidelines.
