City of Pocatello Terry First Connection Engineering, Design and Construction Services

The City of Pocatello is seeking a firm to provide engineering, design, and construction services for the Terry First Connection project. The project aims to improve connectivity between the University, Warehouse, and Downtown districts by installing multimodal and intersection improvements. The selected firm will be responsible for completing all design for the project scope of work, providing bridge load rating services, assisting with permitting requirements, preparing a comprehensive final bid packet, and serving as the Resident Project Representative during construction. The firm must have experience working with federal transportation funds, US DOT regulations, and local government settings. Key responsibilities include: • Completing all design for the project scope of work • Providing bridge load rating services and review of the Benton Street Overpass • Assisting with all permitting requirements • Preparing a comprehensive final bid packet for the construction of the project • Serving as the Resident Project Representative during construction The project is funded through a US DOT grant, and the contract term will be valid for a 24-month period with mutually executable options to extend based on the grant term and availability of funding.
