Description

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) intends to negotiate and award a firm-fixed-price contract to EraDrive, Inc. for the acquisition of spacecraft autonomy modules. The modules are integrated hardware and software systems providing vision-based, Global Positioning System (GPS) independent positioning, navigation, and timing. The contract also includes nonrecurring engineering and engineering support services. • The modules must provide GPS-independent optical PNT, autonomous onboard maneuver planning, and resident space object detection and orbit determination. • The contractor must have the rights and technical data necessary to produce and deliver flight-qualified modules without Government-furnished proprietary information. • The contractor must be able to meet the delivery schedule. • The Government encourages sources with emerging or developing capabilities in this area to respond so that their interest and capabilities may be considered in market research for any future requirement.

Budget estimate

$1,000,000 – $10,000,000

The budget for this contract is likely to be in the range of $1 million to $10 million, considering the complexity and the specialized nature of the spacecraft autonomy modules. The contract involves the production of three flight-qualified modules, one optical hardware-in-the-loop stimulator, and one electrical ground support equipment kit, which suggests a significant amount of work and resources. However, without more information on the specific requirements and the contractor's costs, it is difficult to provide a more precise estimate.
