Description
The City of Salina is soliciting sealed bids for a comprehensive concrete improvement program across several municipal parks. The work includes demolition of existing curbs, gutters, and sidewalks; new concrete curb and gutter installation; reinforced concrete sidewalks; concrete pavement with variable thickness; aggregate base placement; seeding of grass; and associated traffic‑control measures. Optional alternates cover specific sidewalk repairs and median work at individual parks. The contract will be awarded on a unit‑price basis, with a 5 % bid security, required performance and payment bonds, and insurance complying with Schedule A. Substantial completion is slated for early January 2027 with final completion a month later.
