The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) is conducting a market assessment to identify potential sources and companies that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet Air Force requirements for ejection seat parachutes on the B-52H Major Defense System (MDS). The government is requesting feedback on the requirements contained within the System Requirements Document (SRD) and is interested in gathering information on the current state and availability of vendors that can provide a solution to the BA-21A parachute system replacement efforts.
• The solution must meet Air Force safety and sustainment requirements and be compatible with the ejection seats on the B-52 aircraft.
• Respondents should provide feedback on the requirements contained within the SRD, including their ability to currently meet each of the requirements, a list of requirements that cannot currently be met, and an anticipated schedule for when a completed product will be available for shipment.
• The government is also interested in obtaining product support engineering data, a Technical Data Package (TDP), and technical manuals for the parachute system packing, use, and operation.
