The Employment and Training Administration is issuing this guidance to explain the requirements and procedure to receive Program Year 2025 National Farmworker Jobs Program allotments and to apply for an optional Program Year 2025 National Farmworker Jobs Program Youth Services Grant. The program aims to provide career services and training grants, housing services grants, and youth services grants to eligible applicants. The grants will be awarded based on the results of the 2024 grant competition, and the allotments will be calculated using an administrative formula. The program has a minimum 70 percent spending requirement on employment and training services, and administrative costs are limited to 15 percent of the grant award.
• Eligible applicants are current National Farmworker Jobs Program grantees for Career Services and Training grants and Housing Services grants.
• The program has a total funding amount of $90,064,000 for Career Services and Training grants and $6,586,000 for Housing Services grants.
• The grant period of performance is 15 months, from July 1 to September 30 of the subsequent calendar year.
• Grantees must submit a separate application package for each grant type, including a Budget Narrative and a Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate Agreement or Cost Allocation Plan.
• The application package must be submitted through Grants.gov, and applicants must register with the System for Award Management (SAM) to apply.
