Arterial - SR161 - I71 to Cleveland Avenue Phase 2

The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service, is receiving bids for construction services for the Arterial - SR161 - I71 to Cleveland Avenue Phase 2 project. The project involves the construction of mini-roundabouts, pedestrian and bike facilities, traffic signals, pavement widening, and resurfacing. Only pre-qualified prime contractors are eligible to submit bids, and they must perform at least 50% of the total original price. The SBE Goal for this project is 8%. • The project requires construction of mini-roundabouts at four locations on Tamarack Boulevard/Sharon Woods Boulevard and Beechcroft Road. • The project includes the addition of pedestrian and bike facilities. • The project involves full replacement of traffic signals at the intersections of SR 161 with Tamarack Boulevard and Beechcroft Road. • The project requires pavement widening and resurfacing. • The project includes improvements to storm sewer, lighting, and other necessary work.
