Description
The University of New Mexico/Hospital is seeking to purchase the Teleflex Ringer Perfusion Balloon Catheter, a rapid exchange catheter with a helical shaped inflatable balloon on the distal end and a wire lumen for delivery over a ≤ 0.014” guidewire. The catheter is designed to keep the vessel lumen open, providing continuous blood flow to the distal anatomy during inflation. The purchase is being made on a sole source basis, as the Teleflex Ringer Perfusion Balloon Catheter is currently the only commercially available perfusion balloon in the U.S. designed specifically for prolonged inflation while maintaining distal blood flow.
