Phifer Flatwoods Preserve (Lochloosa Creek Tract) - Alachua County Preserves Hunting Services Agreement

Alachua County is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or entities for the provision of hunting services at the Phifer Flatwoods Preserve (Lochloosa Creek Tract). The selected hunter will be responsible for providing hunting services, including caretaking and site maintenance, for a period of 48 months. The proposal should include a detailed description of the hunter's experience, qualifications, and approach to providing the required services. The county reserves the right to award contracts to more than one hunter, and the selection process will be based on factors such as the hunter's experience, qualifications, and price. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing hunting services, including caretaking and site maintenance • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations • Obtaining and paying for all necessary permits, permit application fees, licenses, or fees required • Maintaining insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation • Cooperating with the county in the event of any litigation or claims arising from the hunter's activities
