Description
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking a contractor to provide two roll out sheet racks to store sheet metal materials efficiently and improve accessibility in the NIST Fabrication Technology Group’s Metal Storeroom. The system must optimize space, ensure ease of access, and meet specific technical requirements. The contractor shall deliver and install the system, and provide a warranty for at least one year. The key requirements include:
• The system must be able to store sheet metal materials with dimensions up to 52" x 48".
• The system must have a capacity of 5000 pounds UDL per drawer.
• The system must meet NIST safety and laboratory standards.
• The contractor must provide a schematic drawing of the system.
• The system must be installed by the contractor within 60 days after receipt of order.
