6505--Notice of Intent - Y-90 THERASPHERE

The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract to Boston Scientific Corporation for the provision of TheraSphere Y-90 Glass Microspheres. The contract will be for ongoing services at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL, and will involve providing targeted radiation therapy using microscopic glass beads containing radioactive Yttrium-90 (Y-90) to treat liver cancers. The services will be provided from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027. * The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract. * The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 325412 - Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing. * The Government will review all capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis to determine whether to pursue a competitive procurement. * The decision not to compete based on responses is solely at the Government's discretion.
