Fort Snelling National Cemetery – National Shrine Project 894-NSP25-002

The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, is seeking a contractor to perform a national shrine project at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. The project involves complete section renovation, including site surveying, preparing grading plans, vegetation removal, grading and drainage, headstone identification and handling, flat marker geogrid support system, headstone re-installation, headstone cleaning, turf renovation, and site restoration work. The contractor must provide all personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work within 365 calendar days after receipt of the Notice of Award. The contractor must also ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements, conditions, terms, and representations contained in the solicitation. Key aspects of the project include: • Providing a professional land surveyor to measure the total square feet of area to receive turf replacement/renovation • Ensuring the accuracy of marker placement during the raise and realignment process • Protecting all headstones and markers from damage during the process • Submitting a Work Plan and Schedule of Values for each major work element • Ensuring that all work is completed within the allotted time for completion of the contract.
